BBQ Pork Ribs

Made with Southern Drawl Peach BBQ Sauce.

Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs coated in our rich and fruity Southern Peach BBQ Sauce. The perfect balance of sweet peach flavor and smoky BBQ goodness. Rich peach flavor. Smoky finish. Southern perfection.

Ingredients

Serves 4–6

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 4–5 lbs)

Dry Rub

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp Southern Drawl Chicken & Pork (Hot) Seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

The Sauce

  • 1 bottle Southern Drawl Peach BBQ Sauce

How to Make It

  1. Remove membrane: Flip ribs over and remove the thin membrane from the back for tender ribs.
  2. Prepare the rub: In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, Southern Drawl Chicken & Pork (Hot) Seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Season the ribs: Rub the seasoning mix all over both sides of the ribs. Press it in to coat evenly.
  4. Prepare to cook: Wrap ribs tightly in foil. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for more flavor.
  5. Slow cook: Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C). Place wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5–3 hours, until tender.
  6. Sauce & finish: Remove from foil and place ribs on a baking sheet. Brush generously with Southern Drawl Peach BBQ Sauce.
  7. BBQ or broil: Grill over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, turning and basting with more sauce. Or broil in oven for 3–5 minutes until caramelized.
  8. Rest & serve: Let ribs rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra Peach BBQ Sauce and enjoy!

Tips for Perfect Ribs

  • Low and slow is the key to tender, juicy ribs.
  • Don’t skip removing the membrane!
  • Baste with sauce during the last 10–15 minutes for a sticky, flavorful finish.
  • Let rest before slicing so juices stay in.

Doneness Guide

  • Tender: Meat pulls back from the bone (190–203°F)
  • Fall-Off-The-Bone: Twist the bone gently — it should come out clean.
  • Use a meat thermometer for the best results.
